Delwood Golf Outing 2022

Our Golf outing on Monday 19th September to Westmanstown Golf Club was a great success. Thirty four competitors took part and once again the weather obliged.

The course was in great shape and food and drink afterwards were excellent. Thanks to Captain Michael Doyle, the Close, for hosting us. Thanks also to Kevin Barry for organising the event. Everyone had a great day.

It was a very competitive event, as the results show, with some very high scoring. Here are the main results:-

Perpetual Trophy – Ladys

Brid Gallagher won the Lady’s competition and perpetual trophy with 36 points.

Perpetual Trophy – Gents

Jim Kenny won the Men’s competition and perpetual trophy with 39 points.

Orla O’Brien second in the Lady’s competition 35 points.

Patricia Fany third with 35 points, pipped on the back 9.

Brian O’Brien second in the Men’s competition with 39 points. Pipped for overall on the back 9.

Alan Connolly third with 38 points and

Liam Byrne fourth with 37 points.
